Anyone dealt with this before?

We pulled a copy of my husband's credit report because we are purchasing a car. It shows a public record of a judgement in favor of Palisades Collection. It was made in Sept. 2006. In Indiana. My husband nor I have lived in Indiana for the past 8+ years. I have no idea what this is. This is driving him nuts. He is afraid that a bench warrant has been issued for him because of this. I told him I didn't think that was possible. Is it? There was never anything like this on his report before now. We have NEVER been notified by this company. There is no original account number for them. Just the case number. Is there anything we can do about this?
Try calling the county court where you previously lived in India
Try calling the county court where you previously lived in Indiana and see if they have anything filed for this judgement and get the details they have. I'm no legal expert by any means, but since your husband was never served with anything and you haven't lived in Indiana in for over 8 years, I would think that he could dispute this with the credit bureaus. If they are not willing to remove the derogatory entry by Palisades, seeking legal advice would be my next move if it were me.
Besides disputing with the credit bureau that is reporting this
Besides disputing with the credit bureau that is reporting this item, call Palisades also and get details of this item if it is in their system. If the item is mistaken with someone else's info in your file, it can be removed without a problem.
Is is true that if you don't pay on a judgement you can be arres
