I just said in the other post that credit cards can be very tempting. They damage our financial system and the way we plan something. If we try to avoid excessive use of this plastic money, our finance will be better. Otherwise, we are only responsible for our debts and paying them without having a good source of income can be stressful. If something magical happens, it will be only good.

were still trying to recover my hurricane katrina. stupid storm took everything from us. I thought we were doing good and then in July my husband fell and broke his ankle and leg and had to have surgery. He still hasnt been able to go back to work. I'm not working right now ive gone back to school and trying to take care of him and the baby i think im losing my mind. Ive tried to get like a 1000.00 loan to catch us up on everything and thats inpossiable i keep being told i dont have enough credit. i dont know what else to do it like one thing after another

Since you are a victim of Hurricane Katrina, aren't there any programs to help you get back on your feet? Have you tried going to your local Human Services Dept. to see what benefits they may have available for you and your family?

We recieved FEMA assitance for items we lost. We were renters with out renters ins. and they havent come up with any new programs for renters everything is homeowners. i looked for stuff available and it all for people who owned homes
