I have LVNV on my credit report. I disputed this once 3 years ago and got no proof that it was my debt. I do not even remember purchasing anything from Sears at the time. Does the 7 year clock start at the time that Sears sold off this account to Sherman back in 2001

Thanks, it gives me the date and month of Dec 2008. I was hoping to ignore these idiots. I have no problem paying my debts. But they have not sent me any information on what it was that I even purchased or when I did it.

Welcome to the Forums :D You can send them a debt validation letter and if it isn't yours,and,or, they don't validate-dispute it with the CRA agencies.LVNV is notorious for doing this and also not fully validating. Good Luck,and ask questions and post!...karen
