has any1 heard of an 11 yr old child bein billed and called by collectors? wouldnt u think the collectors should know a lil about the debt their collecting for..among all teh calls i get from collectors and such the most amazing 1 was for my 11 yr old daughter for a medical bill that ive told time and time again it was bein handled by an attourney and i know the attourney has it on files also..so 1 time they called i put my daughter on bein teh good actress she is started crying and askin if they wanted her to sell her barbies and toys to pay for it...sometimes all teh h*** the collector put us through at times i felt we needed a good laugh..needless to say nomore calls from that one.. :D

how in the world do they use a childs name to turn on utilities.wouldnt iy have to be verified before doin so by a social #??.. well mine legit its from injuries my daughter recieved when she was hit by a truck so whatever wasnt pd was all turned into mu attourney and i know he has contacted them and so have i about this.. well at least they have quit callin and hopefully all this is cleared up soon anyway..

A minor cannot enter into a legal contract with anyone and thus there is no debt in regards to the minor child HOWEVER if this is a medical bill then who ever signed the papers in the medical office/hospital is obligated to pay whatever insurance does not pay if insurance was a part of the contract. Anyhow while you have retained an attorney get them to send a C& D leter and give them any mail you recieve in your childs name in regards to this bill. GOOD LUCK
