collection agencies mostly don't accept partial payments. They want to be paid in full. Have you got the debt validated by Nationwide Credit and see if the charges are added right?
While the debt is getting validated, contact your original creditor and work out any payment arrangements with them. If they accept your payments, you won't have to work with this CA.
nationwide credit
They won't work with me say i have to contact the collection agency, Collection agency wants payment in full...I don't know what to do
Can you afford to pay them anything? By law they have to accept
Can you afford to pay them anything? By law they have to accept any payment you send them and post it to your account (this is not the same as saying they have to work out a payment arrangement). If you know the debt is valid and you want to make payments towards it, then send them what you can afford (this will not stop collections calls, fees etc), but they have to accept the payment and post it to your account. If you make what ever payment you can afford then you are building your case should they try and go to court over the matter.
Make sure you document your actions, and as I always tell people never make these payments with personal checks. Spend the little bit extra to get a money order or cashiers/certified check. IF you can afford to send CMRR or PMDC.
