I applied for a payday loan and my intial application was not approved then yesterday I saw a deposit in my bank account from SJM Marketing. I was never contacted to accept this loan, so I called Platinum B to cancel the loan. I spoke to Brad who said he would cancel it and then he hung up. I called back and left a message and I have emailed every email address I have found to contact them. How can I make sure it is going to be cancelled? How long should it take for the deposit that was made into my account to be retracted? Any info would be a great help. Thanks.

I would think that they could take the funds back out of your acct. within a day or two, since they are able to deposit funds overnight in most cases.

This is the contact info. I have for SJM Marketing/Platinum B Services. In addition to the email and verbal loan retraction request, you could try faxing a written cancellation request as well, it certainly could not hurt.

OH NO NATDUST! Ellis Crosby & Associates. You need to file a complaint with the FL Ags office against these crooks! My understanding is that they are under investigation and they were shut down and now going by another name, I think Bass Prelitigation or something like that. I will look and post a link to the thread discussing them. I actually think there are alot of threads discussing this company.

Yes, when the lady called she said that she was holding affadavits and if I didn't pay that they were going to be downloaded. I actually have her name and the address of the supposed company. I wrote it down and now have all of it, including my moneygram receipts for $820.00 in the safety deposit box @ my bank..What should I do??

You need to contact your state's attorney general's office and Florida's state attorney general's office and file complaints against them. She is making illegal threats, and I'm not sure they are even licensed to be collecting. There is a Bass and Associates but they are not affiliated with the one you are dealing with. Is this one located in FL? Google Bass and Associates and you'll read what other's have experienced with these idiots. Think about it, she has no authority to download anything. They really should look up the definition of words before they start using them. Affadavit: Sworn written statement, has made an oath. Good for her she made an oath. She isn't with the courts, and you don't download afadavits, you have to go to the courthouse. She is a true idiot. I think they hire ex-cons, parolees, I'm not kidding.

Go to the FL AGs website and file a complaint, I believe you can do this online, they will send you paperwork to have signed and notarized and they will also contact you by phone. I would also file a complaint with your own state's AG office and when they ask what resolution you would like demand you want a refund of the overpayment, you can also file a complaint with the FTC for their illegal threats. Google Bass Prelitigation, Bass & Associates and Ellis & Crosby and you will see there are so many complaints, these three company names are one in the same.

Read this page for the latest posts on Bass and Associates. http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/creditors-information/about13221-17.html

They are scamming people all over without having a valid license. You need to immediately file your complaints with the AG and the FTC. The legal authorities need more and more complaints from people to come into action against this company.

Call Arrowhead Investment to inform about the activities with Bass and Associates. You need to know if they have hired them for collection. If they have done so, show your proof of the payments done to the CA so that they can do some adjustments on your file and recover the money sent by you to Bass and Associates.
