Getting call for another person. Caller has been informed of error but continues to call.

Who is calling you? Is it some lender or a collection agency? If they are a CA, draft a cease and desist letter by certified mail.

You must let the supervisor of that company know that these wrong calls done to you are disturbing and want your name to be off from their system. They should be able to keep your request after looking into the system.

The same thing happened to my sister, in fact, that is how I found this site.

Asset Acceptance kept calling her demanding she pay a phone bill for some woman named Shelia. We think she must have had my sister's phone number some time previously.

They actually accused my sister of lying and being Sheliah. It was horrible. She finally told them not to call back or she would sue them. That was the last time she heard from them.
