Okay guys here is one more question for you
All I owe now is 1,318.96 I have made one payment today for that amount, and now I find I need an extra 2 weeks in Dec to make the last payment to them, any suggestions on how to handle this,I am suppose to pay the 5th of Dec I have made a 5,000 dollar payment and a 1,318.96 payment and now I am getting paid 2 weeks later in Dec around the 19th .I am terrified to call the attorney I hear attorneys can be terriable.Any suggestions would help I'm not sure how to start up this conversation with them, yes I do owe the debt and yes I want it paid and over with but I am not going to write a bad check to pay my debt.

I would just call and say that due to some unexpected circumstances, you need to change the date of the last payment, and tell them the date you need. If you're given a hard time, just mention that you've already made the other payments as agreed, and want to get this debt taken care of, but again, due to circumstances, you need to change the date of the last payment, but you will definitely be making it.

Do as Tiffany said, make sure that you have their acknowledgement in writing. I have often heard that the CA will agree to some arrangements in the beginning and people continue to do their payments. All of a sudden, they want the money in full and will force all legal threats on you. If you fail to show in writing that the arrangement already existed, you'll find yourself strongly placed.
