I live in Ohio and have a few IPDL's that I can't pay. One of them, DMS Marketing/xpresscash, called to threaten me yesterday. They sent me an email demanding a money gram by today. Below is the email I sent them and the response they gave me:

Brad
I just wanted to let you know that I did receive your e-mail and while I will not be able to provide payment by tomorrow, I would like to see what repayment options are available. If you decide to move forward with action without consideration of a payment arrangement , I will need some information from you prior to the hearing for my records. Please e-mail me the number under which you are licensed to do business in the state of Ohio as I will need this information for my records. Is the company name DMS Marketing, LTS Management, and/or xxpress cash? Also, who is the Bay Medical Center listed in the confidentiality section of this e-mail?
Please stop any ACH withdrawals from my account. Also, do not contact me at work as my company has policies against collection/personal calls during business hours. I may be contacted via email and at 440-***-**** after 5pm.
Sincerely
Kellie

Use Pollys letter! And file a complaint with the AG's office online. I had a pdl with company as well, and I know that there are many more complaints from OH consumers against this company since I filed. And they will settle you as paid in full once the AG's office contacts them about your complaint. They contacted me immediately when the AG contacted them and told them to mark me paid in full. You need to mention the threats in the complaint.
