Parents called me to remind me of credit card bills i have

i went to a college orientation for a motth where i was in the wilderness. When i got back i moved into an apartment and i had to pay the deposit for utilities rent ect. I forgot to change my mailing adress. When my parents started to get mail from the creditors they called me to remind me of the credit card bills i have. So now im in over 500 dollars in dept and i am not able to make the minimum payments since i have to pay my utilities and rent ect. I am only able to make one or two minimum payments

How about getting a second job to pay off the credit card? Or m

Hi westwaytotheclash, you will notice that if the credit card debt is not paid now, the total will only keep increasing over time. You can still afford to pay this debt now before it goes out of control and hurts your credit badly.

You can either call your creditors and propose payment arrangements or you can take the advice of a debt counselor. He will do all the negotiations with your creditors after hiring him for the services. The fees that you will be paying in the program are going to be much lower than the interest and fees on the principal amount. A consultant will call you after you register here for the free counseling. I hope this helps.
