For four out of the past eight pay periods, Ambassador Colletion has been taking a substantial amount of money out of my paycheck.

My dilemma is that I had several PDLS this summer and honestly don't remember filing one with anyone of this name. Furthermore, when I run the name Ambassador Collection through a Google search, it comes up with a series of listings about how it's a scam company.

Does ANYONE have a phone number for them so that I can call and find out what I may still owe, or do I need to contact my bank and have them reverse the charges?

Use this address to contact Ambassador Collections.

Ambassador AKA nationwide cash advance 866-808-0936
Ambassador Collections dba Nationwide Cash
314 North Riverside Dr.
Espanola, NM 87532
Phone #866-808-0936
Fax #866-808-7187

The debits from your checking account should be authorized by you before the loan company hits it. If you find the company doing something fishy in your account, take the help of your bank and dispute with the company. They will have to provide the verification or revert the charges. If by any means, you find the company doing illegal things on your loan account, close this bank account and open a new one. When they contact you for payment, make arrangements with them after fixing your loan account and do the payments through a money order.

Thank you to you both. I have no memory of this transaction, but I had a LOT Of things happen to me this summer and wouldn't be surprised if I just forgot.

However, it strikes me as fishy that they'd start by taking out $90 the first two times, then up it to $125, $140, and then $110 this past week.

Well, I contacted them on my way into town earlier today and spoke with someone who said that I DO have a loan with them, and am in the process of paying it off (I have three payments left). What annoys me is that the original loan was for $300 with a $90 service fee.

I read my contract as only paying that $90 service fee once, and all subsequent payments would go toward the principle. Turns out I needed to pay off the service fee FOUR times, and THEN they start paying off my principle?

It'll be a nice Christmas present when I DO get this thing paid off!
