So I had a payday loan with paydayok. I have paid $1000 for a $500 loan. I tried to get marked paid and they said no. SO I closed my bank account, my phone number has changed and they don't have the new one, plus it isn't listed. And I have a different job than on file. So they will have a hard time harrassing me. But I filed complaints with the BBB, the Attorney general, and The FTC. I also emailed paydayok my states laws and told them I was taking this action. They have yet to reply, and it has been two days. Oddly enough paydayok always woudl email me right away when ever I had questions or needed to make a payment a couple days late. But now they aren't replying. HMMMM? Any thouhgts?

I agree with kyside, they aren't going to waste their time on you because you won't fall for their lies. They have moved onto some other poor victim. I don't think you'll hear or be bothered by them again.

Cool, because I had been downsized in my job and am pnly working part time right now,and until this forum I didn't know to file complaints, and harass them just as bad as they harass me. Good thing I closed my bank account. Felt weird to actually have money for a change. I WILL NEVER DO A PDL AGAIN.

Closing the account is good when you know the loan is paid off. If the company gets in contact, be aware of your rights and recite the laws of your state. They will be forced to send you the 'PIF' letter in writing. Few here did the same thing and now have less worries.
