I was given a car by someone who had been given the car. There is no title. How do i find title to car so i can register it

Or, you should be able to contact your Secretary of State and apply for a lost title. Should be a cost to it (minor), but they will send you a replacement title.
Not sure, though, how it works of you are not the name on the title.
