I am submitting a complaint to the ag in ohio after going to the bank to dispute my case w/ dms xpress, but they can't take info w/o address etc. Today i finally got a phone # for them. They've taken out 720.00 for a 300.00 loan and now they want 480.00 yeah right!! They don't even have a copy of my contract because there isn't one. Help!!

I'm from OH, and i know the AG has multiple complaints know against this company. Get in that complaint it can be done online. Also use the settlement template letter on this site. I will tell you this about this particular company, once they are notified by the AG that they are in receipt of a complaint against them, they settle with you FAST. Also, they are not licensed in OH. Let me look for that info for you.

Thank you so much!!Where do I find the settlement template? When I typed in DMS Xresscash, they said that there is no such company, then I typed in LTS management and they still rejected the application. All I have is a phone #, so they said I could not submit. With all these complaints, you would think that they would be top on their list. I appreciate your help. Cindy

Steelers1 is right. DMS Marketing goes by several different names. Once I sent them a template letter including in it my state laws (Ohio) that they had violated - one of them not having a written contract, and told them I had contacted the AG's office and they were checking into it, I IMMEDIATELY got an e-mail from a John Kimball (jkimball@dmsmktg.com) who was more than willing to settle the dispute and give me a refund, as well. So do send the letter and don't back down with this company. Good luck.

Here are the names that I know of so far that they go by:
DMS Marketing, PD6 Ventures, Xpress Cash (there are a few more I can't remember right at this time. somebody will come along and post them). File a complaint for their illegal business practices and also throw in Ohio Consumer Protection Law 1345.03, on the grounds of unconsciounable consumer sales practices. And trust me something is being done to take care of these internet pdls, you may not see action at this moment, but it is going to happen soon. Sit tight.

DMS keeps claiming that they have never received the letter of representation from my attorney even though it has been sent certified mail. So the harrasment keeps on coming. Perhaps I should contact this Jon Kimball. What do you think dbaker6? Sounds like he was pretty responsive to you.

Great idea. I did do that today. Ther person that keeps calling me is a "Mr Harris" in Henderson Nevada. Wouldn't even tell me the name of his compay. Only that he represents DMS. I had to drag out of him a physical address and fax number. And I think that's only because I told him he was being recorded. My experience has been that if they know (or think) that they are being recorded, the cooperation level goes up, and the abuse level comes down.

Cbigfan7, sorry, I was away for awhile. Definitely contact John Kimball at the above e-mail address. Some of the other names they go by are The Loan Shop and Westbury Ventures. I'm sure there are more, but I'm not sure what they are. As I said, don't back down - they will want to settle with you. Just let them know that you know your rights.

Cindy:

Please check out the following link:
http://www2.ag.state.oh.us/sections/consumer/ccapsplus/inquiry.asp . Type in DMS Marketing and then do it again for PD6 Ventures. The complaints with the office of the attorney general of Ohio are quickly mounting. Use the addresses provided on the attorney general's website when filing your complaints so they all get lumped together. Good Luck! I know it will turn out well for you!

Cindy, File that complaint like Rach said. The AG needs these complaints before action can be taken. Many states are taking action against these people. WV has shut doen 18 so far and made them give refunds. Suit was filed Monday against 14 more. So keep sending them in to the AG . Join the fight. KYSIDE38 :D

I just wanted to say thanks for all the information you all have put on this website. I contacted them about closing the account and I received a very snotty response back that they would not close it. I threatened to file an AG complaint not only in the state I took it out in (Indiana) but also the state I currently reside in (TX), I received an e-mail 30 minutes later saying she closed the account.

Thanks for all your help everyone

I have been trying to get in touch with you in order to see how much I owe to pay this loan off. You have been taking $90.00 every payday out of my husbands paycheck for about 6 months. If I am not mistaken I only borrowed $250 and surely you have really more than collected what is owed to you. I would appreciate a quick response to this situation. Please also send me a correct email address, so I can get in touch with you. I have explained to my attorney this matter and he needed to see the response I receive from this e-mail.

With Regards
Lisa Hill
