lmartin, you need to go online and file a complaint with the OH AGs office, they are getting several complaints against the internet pdls and want the complaints. I can tell you that neither of these companies are licensed in OH. I had CTC and they would not do roll overs for me because I'm in OH, did they roll over your loan? I do know that they charge more than the legal interest rate allowed by OH for a pdl. You will also need to do a letter to revoke your voluntary wage assignment with CTC and give a copy to your payroll dept. When you signed the contract with CTC they have a clause for voluntary wage assignment should you default on it. And trust me they will exercise that clause if you do not revoke it. The only internet pdl that I have found to be licensed in OH is CashNetUSA, they are licensed under Check Giant LLC out of Illinois, other than that one, all the other internet pdls are unlicensed to conduct business in OH. I'm sorry I have not heard of Teleamerica. Have you closed your account yet? If not you may have to do this to take back control of your finances to get out of this trap. And don't let them tell you they are going to file charges against you, in OH they can only pursue civil judgement and NO UNLICENSED PDL is going to pursue that, they could be arrested when they come to court for operating without a license. OH is starting to crack down on these fools so they need your complaints.
