Can payday loans put a lein against our house?

I doubt it. Are these internet or storefront pdls? Majority of internet pdls are not licensed to lend in other states? What state are you in?

Welcome to the forums. The only way a lein can be put against your house is a judgement in court. Payday companies are illegal in alot of states. Are your loans internet or storefront? Storefront can take you to court. Also please have a debt counselor call you since you have registered someone will call. It never hurts to be informed. :D :D

A consultant is referred from your area after you fill up the free consultation application here. It seems you have already done that and someone will be calling you soon. He will discuss the options with you.

How will I know when a debt counselor calls? Will he or she identifiy himself or herself through this web site? The reason I'm asking is because I received a call about debt consolidation but they told me they didn't do payday loans. I really need help. With these things. I closed my checking account and asked them to work with me but they still want excessive amounts of payment. I am frustrated because I know other people who have done this and these places have accepted 25 dollar payments from them but want me to pay 100 or more to stop it from going to collections. I am scared and tired of crying. Everyone around me is willing to help me get caught up on my bills. Yet, even the little help I'm getting there isn't taking care of these payday loans. They are my biggest problem. HELP!!!

A debt counselor will state that they are calling from the info that you filled out here. It usually takes a couple of days. Lanhorne Laws deals strictly in payday loan settlement. You may want to contact them as well.
