As per a previous post, I have been dealing with Cashnet 500 for some time. I did work out a payment arrangement with them, but only after reporting them to the BBB. I am to send my 1st payment tomorrow.

I just got a call at work and saw their number come up. I answered the phone and heard nothing.... I usually hang up, but decided to just sit there this time. A lady came on and was talking to someone else. She must've thought she got my voicemail, because she started leaving a message while I listened!!!

She said her name was Leslie something-or-other, then went on to say that the acct. was now in litigation and I was facing wage garnishment.... Yeah, yeah.....whatever!

Plebs, the lot of them.....

Yes, I've got the email saved, and I'm not worried about them trying anything, as they're total BS threats. They've charged me illegal rates and are not licensed in my state. I've also filed a complaint with the BBB, so I am certain they wouldn't step foot in court, let alone get my wages garnished.

I just think it's unbelievable that they would attempt to leave a recorded message making such claims when this could be used against them. Guess it's to my advantage that they're so stupid.

I'm going through the same thing with cashnet500. The messages they leave are incredible! You would think they wouldn't want such an obvious record of them breaking the law, but they do! They aren't licensed in my state either and I've contacted the licensing deptartment and they are starting an investigation of cashnet500. By the way, they also go by Global Payday and USACashExpress.

Who did you set up arrangements with?? I spoke to a man named Hal Krieger @ 800-654-7444 ext.851, and he set up payments for me. My initial loan was for $250.00, but they said my balance was $570.00. He told me that if I paid them $250 (the original loan) that they would waive the $270.00 and mark my account paid in full. I paid them 2 pmts of $100 and one of $50. I just spoke with Ed Riley (office supervisor) and he said that he would email me a paid in full letter asap. Maybe you should try talking to Hal b/c you pay any more...

If you signed a voluntary wage assignment in your contract and you do not REVOKE it they can attempt this. Some employers will not acknowledge this. If you have your contracts review them. If not, to be on the safe side REVOKE this in writing and you will need to provide a copy of the revokation to your employer. I doubt any internet pdl will take you to court to get a civil judgment because they are unlicensed and could be arrested when going to court for conducting business in a consumer's state without a license.
