Is it legal to garnish someone pay check without a court ?

I took out a loan with cash tranfer centers and they contacted my employer for payment and they are planning to garnish my pay check without a court order is this legal.


No wage garnishment requires a court order. Inform your payroll of this tell them you dont have a court order. They may be talking about a wage assignment which you need to revoke. Hope this helps. Finsfan is the best to ask about this she works in payroll. :D

can a lawyer office who took over my account from another lawyer office who had a court order on togarnish my paycheck since 1991 and another collection agency it over in 1999 and never let me know that they had the account until i receive the notice in the mail that they was garnishing my paycheck from the interest on the account since 1991
