If you tell them you are not allowed to have calls at your place
If you tell them you are not allowed to have calls at your place of employment, they are by law not supposed to all you at work anymore. Tell them you can be reached via email or if you want to give them a non work number.

Awful isn't it. Sonic called me here 6 times in 3 minutes. I have button I can push to divert the call right to voicemail, but they kept at it. No message left. I mistakenly told them to reach me by phone and email only. I may have to change that. I did state to not call anyone else, but me. I might fall over if they comply.

Yeah some of them just don't care...I verbally told Cashnet500 and sent them a letter not to call me at work and they did anyway..I even gave them my cell phone number to contact me...Thank goodness for caller ID here at work, I just never answered the phone and let them leave messages.
Lenders don't care if you have asked them to stop calling you be
Lenders don't care if you have asked them to stop calling you because they don't need to. They are not bound by any laws not to call your place. No legal actions can be taken against repeated phone calls if they are doing it. Keep in mind, they are the original lenders, not a collection agency who must follow the fdcpa.
It will be good if you can keep yourself available to them. Discuss about your account status and offer your payment plans. They can work with you. If this is done, there is no reason to call you again.
With cashnet500 even when I would answer my cell phone everytime
With cashnet500 even when I would answer my cell phone everytime they called, they would still call me work and leave messaged on the general voicemail, instead of my personal voicemail, and they would still talk to anyone that answered and tell them I'm a criminal and that the police were on their way to arrest me! I told them in mail, fax, and phone that I cannot get calls at work and they didn't care, so even if you are willing to work with them and answer your phone everytime they call it is no guarantee that they will leave you alone at work.

Have you had someone try to tell them that you no longer work there?? A lady that works with me had the same problem and she told anothe worker to tell them that. It seemed to have worked because they haven't called in about 2 weeks..
