I received a call from someone named Sonny Patterson He said it was extremely important he let me know that documents was being download on me at 6pm in Harris County TX. for bank fraud, check fraud, internet fraud because of two pdl I have defaulted on. He asked me if I was on probation and if I was I needed to notify my probation officer and I also needed to contact my attorney if I had one. He even told me the case numbers he said was being downloaded. This guy was talking so fast that I couldn't get a word in edge wise. I tried to tell him I have an attorney to handle this matter (Langhorne), but all he would say is "Good luck in prison" and hung up. I'm not sure what PDL he was collecting for. I want to file an FTC complaint but I don't know what collection agency he is with. Was wondering if any of y'all had a call from this clown and maybe know a little more. Oh I called Langhorne and they just told me not to worry about it, that these were false threats. I'm not worried about the threats, I'm just ticked off because the call came through my payroll department and the gal in payroll told me that this Sonny guy told her I was being investigated for bank fraud, and they needed to talk to me immediately. Luckily the gal is a friend of mine or I could have lost my job!

Why not report this company to your state AG for making false and illegal threats on you? This is disgusting when someone says "Good luck in prison". Why do you want to keep this feeling of intimidation?

If I can find the address of this company, I will post here so that you immediately send your debt validation letter and cover your legal basis.

Hang in there, cbigfan. He's just trying to get you riled. I definitely would do something about the phone calls, though. You were really lucky that the person who answered was a friend. How frustrating that must have been, though. I hate when they try to discredit you like that with your employer. i'll be glad when all these losers close down.
