:? I have just graduated college and I have major credit card debt with Capital One and American Express. Currently I am working 2 jobs, trying to pay them off, however I have not made a payment since April and I do not know where to start. Creditors have already been contacting me and I'm stressed about it. I really jsut want to clear this up! I had an Express Card that I paid off last month but that was the smaller of the 3.

When the creditors call you next time, tell them that you are looking for a debt consolidation company and they will be contacting them with a proposal.

Express your intentions that you want to pay the debts but are unable to pay the high interest rates and fees. If they wish to work out something for you, they will offer some arrangements. See if you can manage with their new plan or discuss your options with a debt counselor. It never hurts to give a try.
