Your credit report is verified to judge your level of responsibility. Whether this is a valid assumption or not, but most employers believe that if you are not good in paying your bills, you are not suitable for their job, hence it puts a stain in your being a reliable employee. A bad credit report goes against you in the search of an employment.
Employers want to run a credit check not only because they want to know about your payment history, but to get the details of your former addresses and previous employees. This is basically done to verify the information when you filled the application form or resume.

Help03 Welcome to the forums. I had a neighbor that was applying for a job at a federal prision. They told him to file bankruptcy and they would hire him. You would think that would look worse I know. I dont think its fair either but most places are doing it now. Best Wishes KYSIDE38 :D :D
