Just pulled a "free" credit report from Experian. There is a collection/agence/Attorney acct. status closed. This was field on 5/1/06 to allied interstate. I know it is not mine as we filed BR in '04 and have not even REQUESTED credit from anyone. I wanted to keep our caccounts clean for at least 3 years before trying to get any credit. Now these SOB's have hiled this. How do you go about getting this removed from the CR.

Don't be surprised if you are charged a monthly fee for credit monitoring by Experian. When you sign up for your "free" credit report from them, this is something you agree to. Unless you read the very fine print, you may not be aware of that. Just thought I would mention it. If you google "CIC" on this site, you will see a thread about it.
