I carry a very large debt on credit cards and I relocate to Europe for the next 10 years . Unfortunately I cannot repay this debt . What can happen ? Please help . Thank you.

There is every possibility that you will find a judgment in your name when you return back to the States in a small vacation. If the legal actions are taken before the SOL expired, judgments can be renewed for a longer period. Besides, if the creditor wants to recover the debt from you in every way, he might use some network in Europe to get the money from you. So, you will not have peace of mind even across the border. The best way is to call the creditor and make some arrangements on this account. Since you will not be staying in the US, your credit rating isn't going to be important for you. You will have a different credit profile in Europe. Make a settlement deal with the creditor and shed your worries for ever. You can take a professional help also in this matter.
