Allied Interstate Question about them

I got a call from Allied Asset Managment and they were calling about a Debt with a PDL I knew by the way the message was so rudely left on the Voicemail that they were collection agency, when I called them back I requested a debt validation and they said that by asking for one I admit the debt is mine, I did tell them that I did owe the debt in reference however I was not paying what they say I owe due to the laws here in my state and that I would only pay what I was obligated to pay, they informed me that I wouldnt get anything in writing about this debt and if I did it would only state what the debt was not any type of statement of account etc.
I did say that I would try to pay this off by the end of the month and they said they were fine with that but yet they call me constantly! Still even after I agreed to pay them, when they transfered me to a supervisor I swear Every time i have talked to someone there it is the same guy! I would bet money on it! What type of scam are they trying to pull exactly, Im afraid that even if I pay them the settlement amount they will still say that I owe what can I do about this to protect myself against them? And does anyone have a good address for them?

Before you pay anything I would get something from them in writing saying your payment will be considered payment in full, nor further collection attempts will be made, and any derogetory remarks will be stricken from any credit reporting agency.

Allied Interstate needs to send the debt validation before doing the collections. They are trying to intimidate by asking you to pay without any documentation. You will end up paying to the wrong company if they don't have your file. Send a debt validation letter and make your request legal.

Mention the cease and desist communication if you don't want to get their phone calls. Give them room to communicate with you only through mail. After receiving your letter, they should stop all the phone calls or else the fdcpa will be violated.
