Steelers1 AKA Amy, you are kidding yourself. It sounds to me like she is trying to resovle the matter but in fact you must be following the herd when you read that. Slander and libelous behavior should not be tolerated on this site. If you go to any other debt oriented site there are major guidelines and restrictions on postings. I would watch your back or you will be risking some serious penalties.

I have yet to see a post form one member who advocates taking out a loan and trying to get out of paying it back, which would basically constitute stealing. But in mine, as so many cases here, we have already paid back the money we borrowed sometimes 2, 3,4, or 5 times over, well beyond the legal allowable abount. The lender is not taking any loss by my account being marked paid in full. He has already made his profit many times over. Nobody is trying to avoid responsibility, simply trying to avoid being ripped off further by illegal and unscrupulous lenders.

I have to agree. We are all here to help each other and no one is trying to get out of their responsibilites. I used to think I needed to pay every CA that contacted me even if they had made more than enough money which they had many times over. Now I am learning that CA's don't play fair and are not the most ethical organizations around. So I am just making myself smarter and leveling the playing field. I'm not trying to skip out on my debts.. just fight smartly. I think everyone here is doing just that. Protecting ourselves.

Who's talking about a loan? This website doesn't even give them! Are you talking about a loan you have taken somewhere else? And if so, do you have issues with it?

One of G/R reps contacted me today and threatened me. Can you believe that? I am a paralegal and I have reached out to the FBi for information on the company. He shut me down when I tried to speak and told me they would "get me". Nice isn't it? Hasn't he learned it's against any state law to threaten someone?

You are one of the reasons we shut down unregistered posters before. As a community we decided to reopen unregistered posting to help people that are scared and harassed by collectors,attorneys,and creditors. You do not make a bit of sense stating people are trying to get out of debt. My only debt is a mortgage with over 10 years of positive payment history and credit cards that ave 7-10 years positive payment history. I am here to help instruct our community on what their rights are and what their options are.

You would think that someone(collector) would understand what we are doing here.By using a debt settlement or consolidation,you still see your money.Yet if you continue to harass a person and they see no hope,they will run to bankruptcy court every time.Then you are screwed because your unsecured account just went poof! Discharged as in no longer exists.
