I applied for a pay day loan online. I was then contacted by Route 66 Funding. I declined the loan and told them to remove my info from their database as I was NOT INTERESTED at that time. I WAS NOT removed from their list in fact I received 5 calls a day to my cell# work # and home#. And today I finally gave in as the holidays are coming up. I decided to get the loan. I spoke with someone with a VERY VERY heavy middle eastern accent. They asked alot of questions including my SS# Bank routing and account number, date of birth, and employment info. After the rep got ALL my info, i was hung up on. I called the company 3 times only to get a voicemail. I kept calling and finally reached a person. I told the gentleman whose name I was told was "Sam" that I was very uneasy of this and I am suspecting fraud on their part as he couldnt give me any info about his company. He said they were located in London and that's all the info he would give me. I asked for the remittance address and was put on hold only to be told to call back and press a different key for option 2. I then asked WHY WOULD A REP GET ALL MY PERSONAL INFO AND THEN HANG UP ON ME?? I again brought up fraud and identity theft and he became LIVID shouting stupid American this and how I was the fraudulent one and then once again, got hung up on. Called back and pressed #2 spoke with someone calling herself "Ashley". I asked for the remittance address and she asked me for what I needed the address for. I responded by telling her my bank requested it. Again, I was put on hold for a long time. SHe came back and gave me the address of 1005 Termianl Way, Ste 110, Reno, NV ,89502. I asked why the address was in NV when they are located in the UK??? She stated they had many offices. Red Flag Drawn!!!!!! I should have done my homework on this company but, I dropped the ball on that . I contacted my bank and advised them of what happened.

have your bank reject the money, this people are fradulent I paid 1777.00 on a 200 loan there is no reasoning with them and they have different locations some people have the "middleeast accent" and some have "spanish accent" they are impossible to work with.

good luck!!
