Recieved a letter yesterday from the COlorado AG office.
Said they were responding the the many complains I filed about an unknown phone number that kept calling in the middle of MY night! They determined the calls were from allied interstate.

Also included were copies of the Colorado Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and a consumer checklist.
Best of all though is the official complaint form for me to fill out and return, including copies of ALL documents that pertain to said claim.

I've got the CMRRR info from the first letter I sent, after initial contact, including the NO PHONE CALL instruction. Which was broken many times fter letter was recieved.

Will be filling out complaint form and returning ASAP. And including necessary documentation.
Then, I'll have to wait until they investigate further.

Complain will be reviewed to see if they have authority to help me. If they do, they will send my complaint to AI for a reply. A copy which I will get, unless held for additional investigation.

If unable to help, they will foward complaint to proper authority. Of course, the filing of a suite against them is my responsibility.

But at this point, this is a start of gewtting my complaint(s) in to hopefully help bring AI down!

Keeping my fingers crossed also. These complaints are working!!!! Keep them coming. KYSIDE38

And I think I could still go after them. I, as everyone mentions, specifically stated NO PHONE CALLS. Even after they recieved letter I STILL had 6 calls or more. So I know they didn't read that far, or they did, but knowingly/willingly chose to ignore that request.

Gonna be sending last letter(s) tomorrow. Gonna help them out though as I think I'll use a yellow highlighter marker and highlight the specific rules listed!!

Will let people know what the Colorado AG office decides, after they recieve and investigate my complaint(s) further.

My work schedule is 10PM to 6:30AM. The calls I get are always during MY night which runs 8AM to at least 9PM daily! Calls I end up with usually occur about an hour after I've been sleeping for an hour or so.

Since then, I have gotten rid of the unnecessary calls by turning the answering machine volume way down and/or turning the answering machine off totaly, so I'm not awakened by the unnecessary calls.

Can't afford to be awakened, then not be abl to get back to sleep, in the event of unnecessary calls etc....
The Colorado AG infor also states I can specifgically tell AI what times frame they can and can not call me.

Aside from not signing in...........Sent out two DV letters today. One requesting validation, the other requesting validation AND removal of information listed under a different last name! Got a letter sent to me with a different spelling of my last name. A way that I have NEVER spelled my name.

So, the waiting game begins again. Not expecting much again either. So I wait. Will post again once I hear something, if I even do this time.
