Just wanted to let you all know that reporting to your AG's office does work. I had an internet PDL with Premier Processing Group. Their collection company, DMS Marketing (aka LTS Management, aka who knows what else) began to call me at work and threaten criminal prosecution and everything else under the sun. I asked them not to contact me at work, so they took to threatening me via email. So, I filed a complaint w/ the Ohio AG's office and sent all of the correspondence I received and the threats they made over the phone.

Victory is mine today! :D I received a copy of a letter from their attorney, John Mullen, sent to the rep at the OHAG office stating, and I quote:

Quote:
This law firm has been retained to represent DMS Marketing with regard to you Nov 7, 2006 correspondence regarding (my name). I have investigated this matter w/ DMS Marketing and am unable to confirm the allegations made by the complainant. Nevertheless, because of the expense of pursuing this matter further and the small amount of money involved, my client has decided to write off any further collection attmepts on this overdue loan.

So stick it to these dirty players and let your AG's office deal w/ them. I am waiting to see what response I get from Bass & Associates as I reported them as well.
