Postponement of case...good or bad?
Date: Sat, 11/25/2006 - 22:09
I was prepared for my Dec 1 court hearing with the ever-charming :( Atty Jay Taylor reoresenting Portfolio. I have copies of all the certified letters requesting validation, etc. as well as some letters from him with fraudulent informtion.
I received notice this week that they had filed for postponement for 3 months for more time to prepare the case. THEN I get a phone call that they wanted to help me out by offering me a much reduced settlement.
(I am NOT settling with the creep!)
Good or bad that they are postponing? Do you think that means they don't have a case since they bought my acct as a junk buy? What should I make of this?

You should make of it as a postponement. Just keep all your duck
You should make of it as a postponement. Just keep all your ducks in a row and don't lose your information. Being prepared is the best defense.
I agree with FYI. Just because they might not have a case now do
I agree with FYI. Just because they might not have a case now doesn't mean they won't try in three months. You need to stay ready and focused.
A postponement doesn't mean they don't have a case.
