In 2003 my sons were born 4 1/2 months premature and spent a LONG time in the hospital. One of my children then past away. I am now still looking at more than $3000 worth of medical debt and wanted to see if there was anyway to get this issue resolved! I would like to get this debt taken care of but as many of the people have stated there is little money coming in. Barely enought to support a family and make a considerable payment on the amounts owed. Once again I just want to know if there is anyone who would be willing to help me with these and get all of these bills consolidated so that I know that they are all getting paid off?

First, my deepest condolences for the loss of your child, which is one of the worst things anyone can go through.
Second, since money is tight for you right now, I would suggest calling your hospital's business office tomorrow to see if they have any programs that would at least forgive part or even all of this debt. They could also maybe put you in touch with a Social Worker who would have info on county programs as well. There will probably be documentation you have to provide, etc, but it wouldn't hurt to try.
Good luck to you and let us know how you're doing!

Welcome to the forums as ks stated my sincere sympathy for the loss of your child. Hopefully a counselor can assist you. Also the hospitals do have hardship cases. I would call and see what they say. Best Wishes KYSIDE38
