After quiting my job...
Date: Mon, 11/27/2006 - 15:34
..of almost 2 1/2 years in Feruary of '04. I was a warehouse supervisor of 30 or so people working 75-80 hours a week. All the time I did this I was a single father with 2 kids. I asked for some help so I didn't have to work so much OT but all they said was, "We can't hire anyone else". So basically I gave them an ultimatum, my notice of 2 weeks or hire some help. They took my notice. Now I did have a pretty good amount in savings, so I figured I could last until I found another job. Well you see where that got me. I was out of work for around 6 months, then I hit the jackpot. I found a job with the DOD, I am former military so this was a good thing. Only problem was that it took almost a year before I started this new job. So, I took a job to get me through until my new one started, but it paid next to nothing. All I could afford was the necessities and all my other bills just kinda had to wait. Long story short, I started my DOD job, can barely make all my monthly payments and live paycheck to paycheck. I have taken loans, paid late fees out the A$$ and and am almost fed up. So I ended up here. I am glad I found this site, I see the long list of complaints against R. A. Brennan, I've talked to his company several times and was apprehensive, good thing. Glad to be here and hope a counselor contacts me soon.
