I moved to denver when i was 16 to attend community college, i ennded up getting a bank account with a credit card, and also buying a car because my old car was costing alot to repair. i ended up maxing out my dredit card and getting an appartment, i slowly started sliding further and further into debt. i then was admited to a hospital and got stuck with a huge bill. from that point i have been feeling like i have not been able to get back on top. im 19 and stressed out from owing so many people money, im loosing my hair....--Thomas

Just some advice to you, get help now and don't take the easy way and just pay minimum amounts. I started getting debt when I was young and in school also. I had a job as well but figured as long as I pay the minimum, sometimes more, I'd be okay. Well years later, that debt is still on me and it seems like it never decreased. Because of this I was forced to work full-time and go to school part-time. I'm 28 now and I've been with my girlfriend for 5 1/2 years and constantly getting the "when are you getting married?" question. I was never late with my payments until recently so I finally got into a dmp. Its great you came here as this was the place I got alot of advice. It really eased my worris as well.
