hi, I'm trying to get rid of my accumilated debt but I just want to make one payment to one place instead of writing checks to different companies. Is there a program that will allow me to write one or two checks a month to a company and they distribute the necessary funds to whomever needs to payed?

Yes...there are quite a few companies out there called debt management Programs. They negotiate lower rates to yoru creditors while you make one payment to them and they distribute the payments to them. Just do research on the company before you go with one.
