It's an 800 non-emergency line that he's calling but I told him
It's an 800 non-emergency line that he's calling but I told him I was busy dispatching and asked him to call my phone before 1pm so I can talk about it...but he is so crazy, he yelled at me and said, "No! I won't call you back, you BETTER call me back before five" and this morning he called before I was at work and said, "Put Melissa on the phone, now". What should I do about this guy?

Talk to the person and know the purpose of his call. He should send you the debt in writing before attempting collections.

Them hanging up on you or you them doesn't constitute as you requesting that they not contact you at work. Being yelled at, while quite rude and unnecessary doesn't break the fdcpa.
