well since coming to this site i felt a lot less stress, but i must say i getting a bit worry because i have not being getting any calls or emails from these companies.

nationwide, GFSIL (owe like 100 offered to pay but they had to send me an email, no response since), 500fastcash, ameriloan(dealing thru the BBB)

is this normal??? :? are these people planning something?? :? should i leave i alone??? :?

Route 66 they are insane they still call me, work and everyday even had the nerve to send me a missed payment email ( ireplied by saying it was returned because it was not authorized and they were under investigation)and cashlik sent me PIF letter.(woohoo)

Drowning, I think there are alot of people on here that never got calls. I was not that fortunate. My phone rang off the hook. I guess they just wanted more because I was such a sap in the firts place. lol . Please file those complaints with the Attorney Generals office also. They cant do nothing without the complaints. drowningindebt,
I have been wandering the samething as you. I just got a PIF from one pdl and I still have a few more out. Yet I havn't heard from any one in about a month, no calls no emails, not even from nationwide or route66 who seemed to be the worst for me. I do have complaints in with the BBB and AG's Office, i was wandering if maybe thats why.

Drowning, these guys are right. Consider yourself lucky. If the AG is on their back, then you probably won't hear anymore from them. How long has it been? I thought Interim Cash had finally stopped calling/e-mailing but just got an e-mail from them again after almost three weeks, so I just sent my PDL template letter back at them via e-mail (tagged it as a "reply to sender" to make sure they couldn't block it). Consider yourself lucky if you don't hear from them. I guess some of them are actually smart enough to know when to back off. By the way, congrat's on your PIF!

I think out of the 15 PDL's I had total (not all at once) I only received harrassing calls from two of them and then calls at work from Bass for about three of them. A few maybe emailed me here and there, but there was about 7 or 8 that never even contacted me what so ever...never even responded to my letters or emails.

I have yet to receive a phone call from Rt. 66 since I had my long discussion with "Brian" over a month ago. I requested a debt validation, he refused (flat out refused, mind you) to provide it unless I entered a payment agreement with him on the spot. I refused to do that on the basis of not being able to enter a payment agreement on something I have no written validation on. Told him I wanted the work phone calls to stop, he said he couldn't do that. We went back and forth, I told him I'd consider what he said and call him back. That was over a month ago, and I haven't called them back - and they haven't called me. I do get a lot of one ring hangup calls, and I've received 2 e-mails saying they're investigating my account, and that they've completed their investigation and will be contacting the "third parties" to "validate that the information given to obtain the loan" was truthful. I have offered to pay the balance due on the principal ($23), which they will not accept or agree to.

I say let them call. My employer is aware of this company, and has assured me no action can be taken against my paycheck unless this company attempts wage assignment, which, from what I see on here, Rt. 66 does not do. They have no contract in writing, are not licensed in my state (or, it appears, any other state), and are currently under investigation by the GA of my state (thank you polly!).

I'm sure the phone calls will start sometime soon, given the tone of the last e-mail, but they will find themselves on the wrong side of things if they call me or my employer. I have yet to hear anyone say this company has actually attempted to call the HR or Payroll department of their employer, so I'm not too worried. I'm sure Rt. 66 is aware they don't have a legal leg to stand on.

well route 66 asked for my supervisor once but the recepionist told them where to go and where to put it LOL they call me at work everyday even though they know i'm not at work and they are told that everyday.

once they call and said i just called them from there about a transcript( i had been out of work for two months a this point), then they called saying they were from B of A, now they call everyday about 3 times a day and the receptionist knows is them so she tells them off and hangs up.

I haven't heard from Route66 in over a month, it might even be longer. Before i found this site they had me so freaked out that i gave them my new bank info and they started debiting more then agreed and on different dates. So i closed out my account, which is the 2nd bank acct i closed b/c of pdls. They never tried to contact me since. Hope fully it stays that way.

NEVER NEVER give out your new bank account number to anyone. My bank advised me for a while not to even go online to purchase something to be safe. KYSIDE38

Before coming to the site, I had overpaid 2 of them and rest I need to make one or two more payments to pay back the princpal. I have a refund on one of the two that were overpaid. Of the remaining one, I tried to settle on my own, but I file complaints with the AG's office and I am waiting to see what happens
