vbooker , welcome to the boards. This is debt forum. My one piece of advice to you today, is DON't reloan with any payday loan company, if you haven't been trapped by these thieves you will very soon and if you search these boards you will see it is very hard to get from out under them

Vbooker, Welcome. You have reached a debt forum where people in various types of debt help each other deal with their debt. The pay day loan industry is a big topic here. I would strongly advise you not to take out another loan with this company. Read some of the threads on this (and other) payday loan companies. If you fail to pay the loan back with your next paycheck, you can get caught up in them like others here have, and it would be very difficult, if not impossible, to get back on track.

You have to be very carefull with payday loans. Make sure that you can keep the arrangement otherwise they will make your life hell.

Ideally don't loan. If you cannot help it then pick one company and stick to them. Stay away from those time loans as the fees can really rack up. Pick a place where the full amt is due on your next payday then you are done with it.

Keep in mind. Whatever you loan for now will leave you with that much less money ( + fees ) on your next paycheck. So only take what you need.

Above all never deal with more than one company at a time. Pick one, make sure you will have the funds on your next pay then you are done with it.

I have been loaning with Sonic. I know its like playing with the devil but I had no choice. But I only loan for 200-300 at a time and they are the only company that I deal with. They are fast, effficient, you can always get someone on the line and their fees of $27/hundered are actually reasonable in this industry.

Playing with the devil, indeed.

I'm sorry, but this has to be said. No matter what company you deal with, you will run into a major problem right about the time any of the following happens:

-your car breaks down, necessitating an expensive repair, and you can't repay the PDL.
-you get laid off, hours cut back, or lose your job entirely, and can't repay the PDL.
-your child, mother, signifcant other, spouse or even your dog becomes severely ill and is hospitalized or requires surgery - and you can't repay the PDL.

Any and/or all of the situations could happen - God forbid they all happen at once - and if/when they do, you will be unable to pay the PDL back, and you will begin to accrue late charges, fees, and you will suddenly find that the nice company that you thought you could trust will not help you out of this situation.

PLEASE,PLEASE, PLEASE reconsider before you consider taking out another loan. Read the threads under the various PDL company names on this site and educate yourself about the collection tactics and incredible interest rates they charge - and what happens when you can't pay.

Your best bet is NO PDL's - EVER.

Sonic reasonable? I never thought I would see those two words together on this forum! Let me tell you, Sonic IS NOT or has ever been "reasonable". Anyone who has threatened as many people as they have and have been kicked out of as many states as they have is not "reasonable". Believe me, states don't do this to businesses who play by the rules!
And I echo Suebee Honey. Payday loans, BAD!!!!!!
