What alternatives do I have
Date: Wed, 12/06/2006 - 10:24
I stumbled across this site while looking for financial options to my situation. First off, I'm currently able to pay off our payments on time with the help of my wife and we are not behind on any payments. Last year we had significantly less debt but in the past year we bought a home; my car died and so I got another one; recently was married.
Credit debt to date
Home (140,000)
Credit-3 Credit Cards (17,000)
Store Credit - Lowes, etc (6,000)
Student Loans (10,000)
Cars - 2 (18,000)
I do manage to save a little bit (100-200/month) but I'm worried about things such as illness (no insurance) or loss of job. We are currently living paycheck to paycheck and if something were to happen we wouldn't have enough funds to last 2 weeks. I don't really know what to do or what my options are. Any advice would be well appreciated.
God bless.

Or look into a debt settlement program if you are not very much worried about your credit at this moment. You will get rid of your debts by paying half and because you want to save some money in case of an emergency.
You have a few options in the debt management program. Pick a pick that suits the best in your situation and get started. Your debts will be paid under the plan and under professional guidance.
