I had a payday loan with Instant Cash and MTE financial are draining my account. I borrowed $300 and so far MTE has taken over $1200 out of my account. I am always over drawn and don't know what to do about this.

Any suggestions?

First, you need to get control back over your finances. I would either put a stop payment on them or you may have to close your account and open a new account. Next, you need to see if they are even licensed in your state. If they are, see how much they are allowed by law to charge you for a loan, if your state allows rollovers, etc. If they're not legal, then you are only legally responsible for the principal you borrowed, in which case you should demand they mark your account paid in full. You can also request a refund if you have overpaid. There is a template PDL letter if you do a google search for Pollyandsay's blog. Just insert your state's laws. Also, if they are operating illegally, report them to your attorney general's office. They're cracking down on a lot of the PDLs. Good luck.
