Anyone know of how bad of credit you can have to get a loan from them? I don't want the inquiries on my credit report if i can help it. My credit score runs 600-620.

Wells Fargo SUCKS!!!!! If you sre more than 3 days late they put you in default. I hate this company with a passion. If you have filed bankruptcy benefical wont loan to you for at least 2 years.

I was looking at trying to find a way to pay what my insurance does not pay for dental work. I was able to get $1000 approved from CareCredit. I will probably have to use $500 of it. I have $500 earmarked from my next paycheck (lots of OT) for the other $500. I am glad I did not go through Wells Fargo Finance. Benefical does not do personal loans unless you own a home.

I am trying to avoid loans or credit cards of any type. I had only one loan (student loan), and one gas station credit card that I don't use. My strategy is to save money so I don't have to rely on credit to get through the emergencies in life. It is difficult to get to that point. I am happy renting, because the thought of the cost of maintaining a house scares me. I don't even want a car anymore unless I save enough for a good downpayment. The other day, I found myself thinking long and hard before I bought a 3 pack of new socks! My payday loan problems and low credit score scared the hell out of me. The thought of having to use credit to pay for dental work is driving me crazy. I suppose I'll settle down and stop worrying. But, I am so afraid of getting behind again.

Beneficial loaned to me and the home was in my hubby's name only so they did not take that into consideration. They've actually been pretty easy to deal with after this fiasco with my debt settlement company. I took the bull by the horns late last week and made payment arrangements to catch up my loan. That will be done in January. Now, I know Benefial and HSBC are the same company but HSBC is a pain the butt for me right now.
