Single parent and finding hard to pay all the bills

Welcome to the Community FireyMary :D You are right, they do prey on those down on their luck,that's not saying I didn't take out the loan and owe what I borrowed, but some of the scams and illegal things going on are wrong. Since you have registered, someone will contact you- have all your debt info toghether and they will go over different options with you. Are your pdls internet or storefront? It makes a difference, alot of internet ones are not operating legally, depending on your state. If you have any question, please ask..KAren

Feel comfortable and discuss a bit about your financial problems. You'll be able to relate here with most people as everyone is trying to find ways and come out of debts.

Some here are single parents also. They will see your post and offer good suggestions. Hang in there!

fierymary99, I too am a single Mom of 1 child and I know your pain and frustration. I am not saying that I don't get stressed out by the debt (that is why I found this site) but I really try and look at it in a bigger perspective. I am doing the best I can, I am working and taking care of my child and if that is not good enough then TOUCH, I am not perfect and never will be. My mental health and my childs welfare are MORE important to me than some stupid debt. You know how many people are in debt in this world, it's a part of life today. If I got hit by a bus today, it would not read on my tombstone "here lies Ashley, she owed Target $250" It would read daughter of, mother of.. this is how I try and look at things. If you ever want to talk send me a PM and I will be glad to chat with you. Keep posting and many will support you here
