Was doing good making good money and began gambling online a great deal this made me take out more loans, run up credit cards, and many other bad things happen. Due to this I am paying a great deal of money out every month.

You have come to the right place. Since you registered a debt counselor will be contacting you shortly and advising you of different options regarding your financial situation. In the meantime, would you like to tell us a little more about your situation and maybe someone can answer questions in the meantime? For instance---are you employed?

Dont worry about the debt, worry about the gambling, stop that and everything will fall into place,, believe me I know.
Once you address the gambling you will be able to address the debt, sign up for the counseling and you will start to feel better, gambling is not the answer because if you are like all the other gamblers out there, you have made the first step- admitting you have a problem and admitting you are powerless to it.

When you can aknowledge that you have or had a problem, that is the first step. Now, if you make great money still, you should consolidate your debt and pay it off quickly. It is not easy all the time, but if you are willing to sacrifice, you will come out on top in the long run. I too had a problem online with gambling. I even scamed on neteller. So I had to deal with their collection agency. But if you put forth effort, you can change and still have fun. I just started to play the online games for fun. They are not designed for you to win.

There are two possibilities if you continue with your gambling habit. Either you will make fortune money in the future OR you will be more into debts, losing everything you have. The chances of the later one are common.

Fortunes either come with a price or there is a catch with it. Luck fails there. If you keep trying and run after it, you keep losing everything if it is going the wrong way.

Welcome to the Community! :D Cupcake is right, unless the problem of gambling is addressed, like with Gamblers Anon., you aren't going to be able to take care of your debts. I have to disagree with Beauty- if you are a problem gambler, and is sounds like it has caused the problems, you can not play or gamble, even for fun. That's like telling someone who is alcoholic that they can have just a few drinks just for fun. And before I get all types of replies, I'm a counselor, so I am not talking to just hear myself talk. We are glad you are here, talk to the credit counselor, and see what options they offer. Then, look up GA so you won't continue to find yourself in the same position. If you have any questions, please ask...Karen

Barlage
You really need to address the gambling issue and realize gambling has done nothing for you,, your finances are just a small portion of the pain I am sure you are feeling- forget the gambling it is not going to get you out of debt, only going to create more debt. I came to this site because of the same problem, be proud of yourself for seeking out help. There is alot of resources for the "issue" and this site will help you feel better about your finances, but if you are looking for a "quick fix" it isn't going to happen,, hang in there and get your affairs in order,, the grass truly is greener on the other side,ALOT GREENER (money in your pocket) lol! Read all of the posts, you will find you are not alone,, maybe they don't have a gambling problem,, but the end result we ALL share is financial. Hang in there, it will get better.
