I should clarify, usefull posts. I think you can also submit to be a debt samaritan once you have the 100 posts. You have to submit your request with copies of your best, most informative posts. Or you can be invited to be a debt samaritan. They will invite you if they feel your posts are helpful and informative.

Beauty - you must be invited to be a Debt Samaritan. Keep posting useful information, help those who come to the site seeking help with debt, and read as much as you can on this site about the various types of debt people are dealing with so you are well-educated on how the various situations pan out.
We're glad to see you stayed on and are posting wonderful, helpful information! :-)

Beauty, that's a terrific aspiration. I remember when I was a debt sam I was very proud of myself..Because it meant that I was finally out of the hole and able to help others. You are very helpful here, keep posting and you'll get there.

Do the posts where a member is arguing and name calling others who do not share his/her opinion count as part of the 100?

Curious Guest.....I think you may have missed the post above that stated they must be useful and informative posts.
Everyone has a touchy spot or a bad day - please don't keep harping on this subject. We're all human. Beauty has been striving to keep her posts on topic, as we should all try to.

SUEBEEHONEY70, this is the first time I have written here, so I don't know where you get off telling me to not harp on something. Your reply is exaclty what I was referring to when I asked the question. I was condisering signing up to be a member and that is why I asked. What does beauty have to with anything? I thought this was a debt help site.

curious/non-registered - becoming a debt samaritan is a privilege given to members. The determination of that honor rests completely on the owners of this site. I am sure they will take considerable time reviewing a user's posts before they give out the title. The key to remember is that it is up to the site owners on who gets what.
And why not register? If you are filled with knowledge, we would love to have it. Everyone has a role - we could miss yours if you don't stay.

Curious/non-registered - Please don't take offense to my post - it was not intended to do so. But please understand when you are not registered and post as a "guest" under different names each time, it is very hard to tell who is who. We happen to have a guest who keeps posting about Beauty's earlier negative posts. When you posted your comment about Beauty's posts, it was easy to conclude you were the same person who had done so before. My apologies if I was mistaken.
My intention was only to clarify that re-hashing old incidents (which are now being rectified by the member) is pointless, and doesn't help us with our common goal - getting out of debt.
As mentioned by jedijeff above - why not register and give us the full benefit of your knowledge/experience? We all have things to share, and you might just have some information or experience that the rest of us don't, and everyone could benefit from!
