how do i get a collection company to post my paid off collection to the credit bureaus?? HELP
They are obligated to report factual information to the credit b
They are obligated to report factual information to the credit bureaus. If it has been paid, and they are still reporting a balance, you should initiate a dispute through the credit bureaus. Hopefully you have evidence of the transaction, in case you need to use it.
YOU CAN DO IT YOURSELF
:) If you call them and ask them to send you a letter. faxed or mailed. then call and send it to all 3 credit b's. they will call the ca and update it for you. they will ask a collector to pull up the acct and let them know if it is pd, once they say yes they update.
