I am having similar problems with this WEstbury Ventures. We got the loan over a year ago for 200.00 and I stopped them from taking money from my account, so they tried under another name. I have since had one phone call and a nasty letter on this. What should I do now to keep them from trying to take more from my account? They have already taken over 1000! Alisa

You need to know from Westbury how they are calculating the charges. I understand you have already overpaid them, so you need to insist for a paid in full letter. What state are you in? Recite the laws on pdls to Westbury and get the account closed in writing. You also need to talk to your bank manager and block Westbury from making any debit.

Alisia, Go to and look up your state laws on payday lending. Also check with Secretary of States office to see if they are licensed. Get your ducks in a row you have paid way to much. KYSIDE38
