Is this how all new members are greeted? Good heavens! I noticed that the person who started this thread became a member that day. Where is your holiday spirit?

You are seriously asking that? Someone comes on, insults you, and you are supposed to welcome them with open arms? Sure, the Bible tells us to offer the other cheek. Sometimes, I just don't feel like doing that.

Well surely "AKK" refers to the planet where the un educats originated from. It was named such due to the sound that, as was previously mentioned, the cats make when they...

So... if I become an un educat, and get a member's jacket and wear the pussycat outfit, can I still wear my bunny slippers?

My kitty adventure for this holiday season involves attempting to learn how to cross-stitch with a 7 month old kitten who feels the need to help - in a not-so-helpful way. At this rate, my first cross-stitch project should be done sometime around... um... July.

kscornell---wait a minute---I meant the part about playing and working well with the others! That part sounded like my report cards. I work in a Christian school, so "bad" words are never used (at least when the teachers can hear--LOL). My second-graders think that "shut up" is a bad word and want me to bust anyone who says it. :D

My friend Jen's kids are not allowed to say shut up, or stupid..She used to say to her little boy, "Zech, we do NOT say that" with her finger pointing at him...His first day in pre-school, another little boy said something was stupid, and Zech turned around and pointed at that little boy with a big fat attitude and said, "HEY! WE DO **NOT** say THAT!" It was just too funny.

Just wanted to tell a little story about my cousins 5 year old.She is in kindergarten and everyday they have the letter of the day and the teacher asks the children to give her a word that begins with that letter.Well on the letter F day it was my little cousins day,and I bet you all can guess what word she used.Needless to say my cousin got a call from the school.I asked my cousin if she was now going to be watching what she said said around her daughter. I did have to kinda laugh though picturing the teachers face when she said it.

Oh, that is so funny!! When my youngest was about 3 years old, my mom and I took him to the grocery store. As I was putting him into the cart, he busts out with the F word, screaming it at the top of his lungs. Well, my mom and I kinda walked off and looked at him like, who does that kid belong to. So then I had to do something, so I said," it's ok to say the F word, just don't say "shoot", 'cause it's not nice and you'll be in trouble. Thank goodness the reverse psychology worked, then he began shouting "shoot, shoot, shoot"!!! .Karen

Having taught preschool for 14 years and elementary school for 7 years, I could tell you story after story and you would laugh your heads off. Many of the stories involve kids and bad words and naked parents and daddies getting tickets and every other thing the parents never wanted told, but their little angels rat them out EVERY time!
Ari---Have a wonderful time in Denmark--Lucky you!

My mother and step-father used to go quail hunting in Denmark every year, I actually have some really nice display plates from a Danish artist. the Sound of Music is on tonight, I want to go to Austria so bad I can't stand it. God I wish I hadn't been so financially and emotionally stupid in my younger days

Ari! YAY! Have a great time! :)

Guest--That's hilarious! My friend's nephew couldn't prounounce his TR's correctly...They came out as F's....

We bought him a bunch of TRUCKS for his 3rd birthday...The video tape of his party was full of.."OH! A F**K! HEY LOOK IT'S A FIRE F**K!" and "LOOK AT THIS DUMP F**K!"

It was cruel, but too funny to pass up..

How long have you guys been watching GH? My daughter started when she was 13 and has not missed an episode since (she's 29). She never fails to record it when she's at work and watches it after my granddaughter is in bed (Eric usually goes off and does something else. He's not into it!).

LOL...My football games are like my soaps.

I have NFL Sunday Ticket, and research team news like you wouldn't know. I'm always telling my husband..Who doesn't care.. what coach is going to be fired, what QB is going to be benched, who is calling out their teammates to the media...

I WILL write that book someday soon.

I was watching Saints/Giants and Colts/Houston. Sorry, Ashley, but as of the Pats win, the Titans are eliminated from contention. Don't feel bad, though..The fins were mathmatically eliminated with The Colts' win over Cinci last week. Not like they ever had a shot anyway. So now the Pats have clinched, Ravens clinched 2nd seed, Colts 3rd, and as long as the Bengals win tonight San Diego will have home field throughout. PROBABLY the Bengals will get wild card and Jets will get other spot..But still possible for Denver/KC/Jacksonville...Bills/Titans/steelers out.

Aren't I pathetic?

Actually this is what needs to happen for the Titans to make it to the playoffs must beat the Patriots next week and one of two of the following scenarios must happen:

The Jets lose their last two games (tonight at Miami and next Sunday against Oakland),the Bengals lose to Pittsburgh and/or the Broncos lose to San Francisco and the Chiefs beat the Jaguars.

They do hold the disticntion of being the Music City Miracle team so anything is possible :D
