I have loans with these companies
Date: Mon, 12/18/2006 - 09:22
The companies I have the loans with are:
*PD6 Venture
*ameriloan
*Geneva Roth
*Payday Two
*United Cash Loans
*Route 66 Funding
I pulled all of these names from my bank account. Alot of these places keep trying to take money out of my account, and I do not have any in it, in fact it is in the process of being closed.
Is there a letter I can send these companies to tell them to quit trying to take money out of my account?
I am trying to find out if any of these operate illegally in my state. Has anyone ever been able to prove this and not have to pay? Any and all the help and advice you can give me is greatly appreciated!
Thank You!
Rebecca

Hi Rebecca what state are you located in? If you will send me a PM (icon at the bottom of msg box) then I might have a letter created speciafically for your state. I have template letters for NC and PA already but can create for any personal use. Good luck and keep posting
Sick of this!!!
''I am trying to find out if any of these operate illegally in my state. Has anyone ever been able to prove this and not have to pay?''
Why do you feel you don't/shouldn't have to pay? you borrowed, PAY IT BACK.
Is it their fault your account is being closed? NO
Does the fact that a) there is no money in there or b) it is being closed excuse you from your responsibility? NO
Would you borrow from friends or family and not pay it back? NO
What do you call taking something and either not returning it or paying for it??............
You guys on here cause people like me trying to pay back my debts properly a difficult time, and i guess people like you are making the collectors more aggressive too.
Thanks a bunch!

I have dealt with PD6 ventures. They are illegal in my state and several others, as well. You'll have to check your state laws to see if they're illegal where you are. They also go by Westbury Ventures, The Loan Shop (not to be confused with the Little Loan Shoppe), Xpress Cash, DMS Marketing, and their collection company (which is also a part of them) is LTS Management. I sent them a template letter after paying the principal and $150 extra, stating I had reported them to my attorney general's office (which I did) and that since they were operating illegally, I was only required to pay them the principal and I demanded a refund for the $150, which they did give me. The template letter I sent them can be found by doing a google search for Pollyandsay's blog and use her template letter for PDLs. Good luck.

collectros are always aggresive nobody hs the right to abuse, insult and disrespect another individual just because they owe money, since when owing money make you less of person???
please dont blame others for the actions of bill collectors, they work based on commission so they will do anything to get their money, thats why they are so aggressive.
i've worked collections myself and was never rude or disresptful to anyone i was calling.
Geneva Roth
These people made an unautorized deposit into my account. I had not ever heard of these people. I pulled up my bank statement online and there they were! I would like to find out if they are even legal in the state of Nebraska. Any advice?
