Your bank should have more info about this company. Request them to block the company from doing further debits in your account. They can even place the present transactions on dispute. If it doesn't come clarified, you should have the money reverted back to your account.

Does anyone have a phone # for CMG/FSM? I'm being threatened with potential garnishment for a loan I was sure had paid off. The "law firm" that contacted me wouldn't tell me the name of the subsidiary company with whom I allegedly got a loan, nor would they tell me the amount owed. Only that the parent company was "First Advance", but I never made a loan with a company by that name, and I'm sure I paid all my PDLs off. Please help!

this a threat that a bottomfeeder makes.they can't garnish without a court order.they broke the law in saying that.while debts are civil matters they must take you to court and win to garnish.i doubt this supposed law firm can do that.next time they call demand something in writing,then hang up.
