I believe you may have come across our site by searching for a loan company's website. If you are willing to post the name of the company you are dealing with (which can be found on your bank statement), we should be able to help you out with the contact information for the company so you can get this straightened out.
Since you registered with our site, a debt counselor will be contacting you within a few days. If you do not feel you need their services, please feel free to let them know that when they call.

$60 debit twice a month
Thanks for your prompt response...I see that I'm not the ONLY one bilked by the SJM Mtg company...yes..I originally had a $200 loan with them but gosh, that was back since last year...only recently did I discover they were STILL deducting $60 every payday...I am so upset over this..that Dustin guy NEVER RETURNS calls and you NEVER speak to a live person....maybe I can try just closing my account, huh?

Check your state's PDL laws to see if they are legal, and what the allowable interest rate is. Chances are, you've probably already paid back the $200 principal and the allowable interest...and then some.
If you are unsuccessful in reaching the company that is debiting your account, you should send them a cease & desist letter, which revokes their authorization to debit your account. It does not always work, especially with online PDL companies. I would send it anyway, then explain the situation to your bank. Have them either block this company from debiting your account while you settle this issue, or close your account and open another one. Do not, under any circumstances, give your new account info out to anyone - especially this company or any other PDL company.
Also, file a formal complaint against this company with your state's Attorney General. Do a web search on (your state's name) Attorney General. Each state's AG has their own website. You should be able to file the complaint there and get things rolling with that. Eventually, if all goes well, you might be able to get a refund from this company for the amount you overpaid them.
