the whole story

I have 3 credit crads that run a debt around 5 grand because i havent been able to make payments because i've been unemployed for close to 3 months, on top of a 5 grand private student loan. my girlfriend has teh same issue with a private student loan. i tried care one for awhile before this issue when i wanted all of my payments made at once,i moved from where i was living, and during the hustle bustle of the move, i was continuously charged on my old bank account, so i have about 370 in debt with the bank wich has gone to collections as well as a school bill for about 2,500.
i am having a severely hard time getting by, even now that i have found a new job, and my girlfriend working both of us 40+ hours, we cant even get ahead at all. this has put me in a real ordeal because i have a very hard time dealing with stress and anxiety, i hardly sleep because i worry everyday that since i cnat get ahead, i never will and i'm afraid of hurting my dads credit as because he's teh one who co-signed for my student loan.
i know a very very long story, i just need a way out, i've been worrying myself till i become sick and honestly i feel like i will never get rid of gorilla on my back

I think you should call your credit companies and see if they are willing to do any payment arrangements. Since you have a job, this should not be a problem. They will lower down the interest rates after a couple of payments done by you. Thinking about your debts and having sleepless nights is not going to solve the problems. You have to work hard and earn more money so that you can put that towards your debts. Do some budgeting and minimize your current expenses. I know you are already focusing that part. You will see your debts shrinking if you give a try. Your girlfriend is also working now, so she will be also able to take care of her debts. Sit together and work out a plan. You will find a way out.
